Actually, it is the opposite. Self-responsibility *empowers* marginalized groups because responsibility is the only way to succeed in this life.

And yes, self-help writers are successful because no one takes advice from someone "worse" than them.

Now, the self-help industry does have problems, such as low quality advice, too-big-to-be-true promises, and writers who dont follow their own advice.

But inclusivity isnt one.

Only the best succeed, and that has *nothing* to do with race or gender.
