If we didn't have people willing to invest their money in high-risk projects, we wouldn't have any of the startups we currently have.

Actually, the truth is quite the opposite of what you have written: it is risky people that make the world go forward. We should reward MORE people that take risks.

A few examples: Nelson Mandela, MLK, Gandhi...whatever you do that isn't risky doesn't have any value.

Writing on Medium was risky. Yet, you did it, and it turned out well for you.
