How I Reworked My LinkedIn Profile to Get More Interviews
Turns out LinkedIn is important.

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t think that LinkedIn is cringe, so I never bothered investing efforts in it until my curiosity convinced me otherwise.
I got several interviews for several companies a week after my profile’s aesthetic lift, which really disappointed because it turned out that recruiters take LinkedIn seriously.
Anyway, here’s what I have done to polish my profile.
1. Add more experience
I have a bunch of work experiences in completely unrelated fields and didn’t think it was good to write them all.
But I was wrong. LinkedIn works like Google. It picks up keywords related to job skills. The more keywords you have, the better it is.
So I added more experience which also made me appear more qualified and experienced.
2. Rework the job description with ChatGPT
Each of my job experiences has a clear bullet-point list description with the goals I have achieved and the skills I have learned.
I wrote the draft myself then reworked it with ChatGPT and edited it to take out the AI-sounding style.
