How Much I Earned Since the August Algorithm Update
Short article.
As you may know, this platform updated its algorithm in August 2023.
I went from earning on average $1.8k to earning…well, see below.
You can clearly see the difference between July and August. That’s what happened to all of us.
Overall, I didn’t change what I wrote about. I am just earning much less.
Maybe the most shocking part was the exodus of my affiliates, likely due to the catastrophic type of content that’s now pushed in the timeline.
My affiliates used to make me $60/month. Now I earn less than half of that.
Will I stop writing?
No. As long as I make $200/month at least, there’s no reason to stop.
I’m just going to have to find additional sources of income.
And to be honest…maybe that’s for the best.
