I don’t think you read what I wrote. I said women choose mates based on sexual competition with other women and that popularity is one of the best proxies women have to judge a man's inherent reproductive value, which is why women are attracted to the guy all the girls want to date. But since I keep reading accounts of women who either have no idea why they like what they like or can't make sense of how gender equality has hurt their dating prospects, I think I am going to have to write an article to explain women to women.

In fact, it will be called "On Women for Women."
