I want to make some precisions before this article blows out in my face.
1. I am not encouraging you to discriminate without second thought. I am encouraging you to beware of the deconstructivist mainstream narrative encouraging you not to trust your instinct. Yes, you may make mistakes by following it, but in the end, you will make fewer mistakes than if you didn't trust it at all. So trust, but verify. Most people are interesting to talk to. Maybe not necessarily to befriend or trust with your life, but to talk to, at least.
2. Keep an open mind. I am the first one to be driven to different (tattoo-wearing or not) people since they're the ones I am likely to learn the most from.
3. Don't discriminate based on things people have no control over. And don't assume what people have control over or not. I often wrongly assume that people have control over many more things than they actually do and I have efforts to make in this regard.
4. The best application of the Layer Theory remains the one to your own life.
