No, I see it more like truth than community.

I hold the belief that human beings are both good and evil, so while I joined the Church, I try to remain not too close to its community, if it makes sense.

What matters most to me is to take part in the rites (Mass, etc) and to read the stories and think about their meaning and how they can influence my life.

Faith, for example, calls on the idea to "keep going despite all of the bad things that happen". That's what Faith is: an anti-dote to inertia and giving up.

In real life, this principle can be encountered by people who build a company, for example. The 40 days Jesus spent in the desert can be compared to the famous "valley of despair" that entrepreneurs go through when building their companies.

That's the aspect that interests me the most. I am in there for the spiritual substance and ageless wisdom.
