Men are more likely to get addicted to porn because they're more visual (ref: A Billion Wicked Thoughts).

But I do believe that porn can help some women overcome some taboo and shame around sex and around their bodies too. It's also been shown that it didn't have the same effect on women as it has on men, and that women are less likely to be addicted to it than men are.
