Thank you for your answer, and for your willingness to discuss such a sensitive topic.

I don't define hypergamy as dating somebody that does more in the relationship.

I simply mean dating someone that occupies a higher social function.

The classic example is the employee dating her superior.

I have a hard imagining it being the other way around, which studies back: the smarter and more successful women are, the least likely they are to get married.

There are few good men in this world, and when they are, women don't necessarily feel attracted - lots of them remain attracted to that ONE GUY which for sure, will end up breaking her heart.

And I would tend to say the opposite is true too.

There are few good women in this world. And when they are, men aren't necessarily attracted.

In the end, if both genders made an effort to be of higher quality, things would likely be going better.
