This is a fair assessment of most men's relationships with women.

Yet the reverse is also true.

Women say they like men, but what they really like is the feeling of safety that men provide them with. Their hypergamy compels them of finding a man that will deliver more in the relationship than they will. And to make sure he remains a "high-value man", they will ruthlessly sh!t-test him without pity.

Women don't really like men either.

What they like is the idea of dating a high-value guy better than they are, that provides resources and safety, and for which all of their friends are jealous.

Women see men as status goods and tools. Nothing more.
