Valid, but disagree.

1. Few countries will kick you out if you have a reliable high-income AND you pay taxes on the spot.

2. I'm European and care little for the US system and leadership which Europeans, sadly, follow much too often without second thoughts. So I need to highlight my demarcation from US culture and system by accentuating our European differences. This includes not taking specifically-US problems into account, like nationality-based taxes.

No hurt feelings. I am trying to contribute to the building of a European identity.
