Yeah, ofc, there's hypergamy on one hand, and the idea that women often choose men which are not good for them on the other, so their opinions of men is that all of them are bad.
That's mainly because women categorize men in two groups.
1. Men they're attracted to (which is the group they're talking about when they say "men")
2. All of the other men (which is the friendzoned beta male they complain to when they say "I cannot find a good bf" and the beta male is there hoping she will see how good he is to her).
I believe this may be why parents played such a role in who the daughter was going to marry in the past. They wanted to ensure he was an actual good guy.
This is why if you want to date today, you need to be at the top.
Anyone below the top won't get any girls.
Meanwhile many women go after all of these alphas in their twenties, and end up single in their thirties.
